The UK is set to roll out 5G this year in what could revolutionise the world of communications. However, some believe 5G, which is the successor to 4G with download speeds theoretically reaching 10 gigabytes per second – were as 4G had a max of 300 megabytes per second – will not be all positive. In fact, some in some quarters there are concerns the increased radio frequency across the planet could be detrimental to our health.
To establish the 5G network thousands of antennae have had to be installed which has some worried.
