A NASA image of a black object hovering over Mars has had conspiracy theorists claiming a flying creature dwells on the Red Planet.
Theories about life on Mars have been on the lips of experts and so-called truth-seekers for years.
Just last month, Professor Brian Cox admitted a huge 900-mile-wide crater could hold alien life.
And a new NASA image has now emerged that has sparked a fresh conspiracy meltdown.
The image – captured by a NASA rover before being posted to the space agency’s website – shows a black object in the air over the martian landscape.
It appears to have wings like an unidentified animal.
Tyler Glockner – of YouTube channel secureteam10 – reposted the image in a video on July 5 and said: “We have what appears to be a bird or a pterodactyl of some sort.
“It has these massive wings that look like are flapping in the distance.
“Sticking out like a sore thumb is clearly an object of some sort.
“Some have said that this is a creature flying.
“We can’t be certain but what we do know is that it is something in the skies.”
