The data, compiled by SatelliteInternet.com, spans a one-and-a-half-year period between January 2019 and June 2020.
The data was then compared against the US Census to show which states have the most sightings per capita.
According to the National UFO Reporting Center, there were a total of 3,456 sightings in 2018.
The following year, the sightings nearly doubled to 6,340.
