There are thousands of illnesses which can affect the body in a variety of different ways. Some make patients cough and sneeze or trigger tumours and seizures, whilst others cause no symptoms at all. However, one user has taken to Reddit to highlight a condition that causes a symptom so bizarre that it is known as Werefolf Syndrome. Hypertrichosis is a condition very few people will develop in their lifetimes; it causes abnormal hair growth all over the body.
The hair can envelop the entire patient and is better known by its nickname “Werewolf Syndrome” after the mythical humans from folklore who transform into a wolf at night.
