Plagues of locusts, frequent asteroid flybys and conflict in the Middle East are all evidence of the world approaching collapse, according to some militant Christians. One of the main purveyors of the doomsday claim is evangelist Paul Begley from West Lafayette in Indiana, US. The Christian preacher is a fervent believer in biblical prophecy of the end times and frequently urges his followers to prepare for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
