Thinking about some recent threads and about the general state of skepticism, materialism, and neo-atheism, I thought I’d start a conversation and see where it goes. As a non-materialist myself I feel somewhat disappointed with the standard tenets of materialism (as I see them; it could be that I’m not seeing them fully) and figured by addressing them here all materialists would change and move into what I consider a more mature and well-thought-out position (tongue very firmly in cheek there).
