A grandmother has said she was left struggling to walk for a week after buying a product from Home Bargains.
Helen Kavanagh, who suffers from eczema, was looking for something to help with her dry skin while shopping in Kirkby, Merseyside.
She came across the “exfoliating heel peel” from Healthpoint in the town’s Home Bargains shop and purchased it.
The 71-year-old said she used the exfoliant on her heels for around an hour before washing it off – but the result was not what she was expecting.
