A man who was blown up twice in a week explained how he went on to work for the people who blew him up. Tsutomu Yamaguchi was just 29 when on August 6, 1945, he felt the full force of the first atomic bomb when it landed on Hiroshima.
Mr Yamaguchi was on a business trip for his employer, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries when the Enola Gay dropped the first atomic bomb from a B-29 as he walked to Mitsubishi’s shipyard.
