Neighbours reported hearing a loud crash followed by Hague shouting: “You called me a ******* nonce. Come out here and fight like a man.”
Prosecutor Laura Marshall said Hague and Mr Wilkinson had been involved in a verbal altercation with each other, during which Mr Wilkinson reportedly called Hague a “nonce *******”.
She said that, after telling Mr Wilkinson to “come out here and fight like a man”, Hague attacked him with a bag containing four or five tins of Pokemon cards.
