This is pretty much indirect evidence but I doubt it could be a laser because that would show an exploit in the sensors and that would even make the pic classified. The FLIR would only pick up a laser if the laser is also infrared since the FLIR does not capture visible light and most lasers are visible light. There are modern uses of lasers blinding sensors like “Directional Infrared Counter Measures” which protects aircraft against laser guided missiles (f.e.
